I first heard this song right after I just joined SoundCloud and it just disappeared one day, which bummed me out big time because of how much it resonated with me. And then lo and behold; randomly googling "MAIKA Avanna 'when you feel like you've lost it all' " in a last ditch effort to see if this song actually existed provides me with the Bandcamp link ( ´ ▽ ` ) such a great song that's perfect for getting me out of an anxious/depressed headspace
"The song is about the act of learning how to be happy, or rather, learning how to accept that fact that there will be times where one is unhappy, and when those times occur, it's okay to be sad, upset, or whatever emotion takes its place. I tried to link it to the act of learning a "sunny dance", which, hypothetically, is a dance that bring the sunlight in. It's less about, however, being in a "sunny mood" and more about clearing away the thoughts that if you are unhappy you should just suck it up and put on a brave face, because that's not the way to go." -nostraightanswer (Kenji-B)
lyrics
So let's begin by slowing down,
sort it out.
Breathe; take it in, then let it out.
Hear the sound.
It comes from within like a wildfire,
crackling and flowing with the wind.
Happiness, it comes, exists,
but we must learn how to make it persist.
When you feel like you've just burned out,
arise from the ashes, safe and sound,
and when you feel like you've lost it all,
hang on to the edge, I won't let you fall.
Does it feel like the time has passed?
Does it feel like you've won at last?
Does it feel like you have a chance?
Does it feel like a sunny dance?
Now, close your eyes; head to the sky,
You'll survive.
Breathe; take it in, then let it out
You can cry,
cause it comes like a waterfall,
moving with the force of gods,
and must be hard, against all odds;
Happiness, it comes and goes,
it will come back, and now you know.
When you feel like you've just burned out,
arise from the ashes, safe and sound,
and when you feel like you've lost it all,
hang on to the edge, I won't let you fall.
Does it feel like the time has passed?
Does it feel like you've won at last?
Does it feel like you have a chance?
Does it feel like a sunny dance?

Circus is a music machine who's put out tons of amazing tracks since 715, but this is still my favourite of his albums by far. I still don't know how he got Len's English to sound so emotional and powerful on Poltergeist, but on that and every track Circus showcases why he is the king of English vocalsynth tuning wondersmith_39
I have the physical version of Lucid but I knew I had to get the Cupcake EP too!! CircusP has really come on in recent years but his first albums still have such a charm to them. Super catchy, with a wide range of VOCALOIDS all tuned to perfection! Georgie
